More making...

I had crazily prepped to sew ten bags on a recent project day...this is as far as I got. But I love it. It is an upholstery felt bag with hand stitched detail. It was a bit tricky to work with, hence the slow going, now on to my nine others...

Officially Cards for Sale!!

A country drive to Highfields to visit a dear friend always does wonders. Ros is amazing in her hospitality, we went from gorgeous morning tea at her house to browsing some lovely shops like 'Gotta Love Country' and lunch at the 'Chocolate Cottage' followed by more browsing and buying, my kind of day! Also finalised all my cards and added two new ones to the collection. The 'cup of tea' and 'crocheted flower necklace' - Gift and card in one. They are currently selling in the 'Discount Drug Store' Pharmacy in Highfields Plaza Circle, Queensland. If you are nearby drop in for a visit.

New stamp...

Moving house recently inspired this creation as a thank you to our neighbours. I had such fun creating it. Some of my making I most like are ones done with a purpose in mind. For someone rather than just to sell. But  I do believe these will be fun to package as new address cards or congratulations on buying new house or house warming gift...endless ideas.

New Crocheted necklace...

Crocheted a flower thanks to my mum's great tuition!! Initially my thought was to make a card with them, then a friend (my beautiful model) suggested a brooch or necklace and this creation came to be.  I am having too much fun!

Welcome to ink.paper.cloth...

My new range of hand printed/ hand cut stencil-led cards soon to be for sale! I loved creating these from simple drawings on soft rubber and carving to produce unique designs. I will be experimenting with lino carving soon - can't wait!
This blog is a space to journal the humble beginnings of ink.paper.cloth. My head is brimming with ideas for more cards and then following on to gift lines, so stay tuned. Your comments/suggestions are very welcomed!
